Sivin “Sai” Rosado, Shodan, Chief Instructor
Sai started training in Nihon Goshin Aikido in 2006 with Sensei Djeams Muse and Sensei James Durand in Guttenberg, NJ. When the NGA Headquarters relocated to Nutley, NJ a couple of years later, Sai followed suit to continue his training.
Enduring a few setbacks over the years, Sai found his footing until he became an instructor in 2016, regularly assisting and teaching classes. In 2018, Sai achieved the rank of Shodan under the tutelage of Muse Sensei.
Always and forever a student, Sai currently studies Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Joseph “Ze Cobra” Manuel of Cutting Edge BJJ (Robson Moura’s first American Black Belt), Filipino knife fighting under Tuhon Carl Atienza and Tuhon Leo Manolo of Atienza Kali, and Muay Thai boxing under Coach James Abouchedid.
Rosado Sensei has trained outside of the Aikido circle since the late 1990s, starting with boxing while enlisted in the service as well as being a decorated expert marksman and certified firearms instructor.
Sai is also a Certified PPCD, PPBT, OCAT, and PATH Instructor under Scott Woodford, (President and Owner) of Personal Protection Consultants, Inc.
