Chief Instructor
Sivin Rosado, Shodan
Rosado Sensei began training in Nihon Goshin Aikido in 2006 under Sensei Djeams Muse and Sensei James Durand in Guttenberg, NJ. When the NGA Headquarters relocated to Nutley, NJ a few years later, he followed to continue his training.
He persevered through setbacks and became an instructor in 2016, regularly assisting and teaching classes. In 2018, he earned the rank of Shodan under Muse Sensei.
Always a student
Rosado Sensei continues to train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Kali (Filipino knife fighting), bringing what works back to the mat.
His training outside of Aikido began in the late 1990s with boxing while serving in the U.S. Air Force, where he was also a decorated expert marksman and firearms instructor. He later added Muay Thai to his background.
